In Eastern/Byzantine Iconography, Our Blessed Mother was said to have “fallen asleep” and then taken up to Heaven, hence the term “Dormition” as compared to the “Assumption” in the West.
This small d-shape veil is made of a blue floral lace bonded onto a beige solid colored fabric, finished with matching beige trim.
Due to the weight of the fabric, a comb clip is already sewn on for easy wearing.

Handwash in cold or slightly warm water with like colors, and hang or lay to dry. Do not wring, soak or bleach.
It is recommended to have a separate pouch for veils as other items in a purse or bag may scrape/tear against the delicate lace.
