In Eastern/Byzantine Iconography, Our Blessed Mother was said to have “fallen asleep” and then taken up to Heaven, hence the term “Dormition” as compared to the “Assumption” in the West.
This tie-up veil is made of a blue floral lace bonded onto a beige solid colored fabric, finished with matching beige trim. Ties are sewn on for easy wearing.
Tie up veils do not come with a comb clip, but it can still be requested at checkout.

Dormition of Mary Tie-Up Veil
Handwash in cold or slightly warm water with like colors, and hang or lay to dry. Do not wring, soak or bleach.
It is recommended to have a separate pouch for veils as other items in a purse or bag may scrape/tear against the delicate lace.
