In Eastern/Byzantine Iconography, Our Blessed Mother was said to have “fallen asleep” and then taken up to Heaven, hence the term “Dormition” as compared to the “Assumption” in the West.

This triangle veil is made of a blue floral lace bonded onto a beige solid colored fabric, finished with beige trim.

ONE OF A KIND — meaning this veil was made from lace remnants from past collections. We try to have zero to little waste around here, so we use every little bit of lace or trim leftover to make new creations.

Due to the weight of the fabric, a comb clip is already sewn on for easy wearing.
